Adoption Requirements
The application process includes a reference check of neighbors, friends, and family, as well your veterinarian. A house visit and interview will be performed to prepare your home, answer any questions, and to determine the best greyhound for your home and lifestyle. We try to match every greyhound to your particular lifestyle including their age, gender, size, and temperament. An adoption fee of $250.00 will include spay/neutering of the Greyhound, up-to-date vaccinations, heartworm test, and dental cleaning. A martingale collar and leash, muzzle, and identification tag will accompany your Greyhound. We also include an information packet, history of your Greyhound, and recommended reading with every adoptee. A 24 hour emergency number will be included in case of any problems. Follow up house visits and phone calls are made to answer any further questions and to see the progress of your new greyhound.
