No Need For Speed Adoption is dedicated to finding loving, ‘Forever’ homes for retired racing greyhounds. We are a Lehigh Valley based volunteer 501(c)3 organization. As a non-profit organization, we are completely dependent upon donations and volunteers to accomplish our goals. Our #1 goal is choosing the right greyhound for you!
Without groups such as ours, thousands of greyhounds are sadly destroyed each year because they are no longer fast enough to compete or race related injuries have ended their career. Our mission is to step in to save their life.
We place greyhounds in foster homes as they come off the racetrack so that we may provide food, medical, shelter, training, socialization, and love during their transition from racing career to pet.
We also organize fund-raising events in effort to raise money for the needed medical and care provided to our fostered greyhounds. These events are conducted by volunteers.
